A set of seven albums that have so far been released as part of the Witold Lutosławski.
A unique publishing series of the National Forum of Music and CD Accord. Opera omnia is a project presenting all the works Lutosławski. The releases in this series are top-notch in terms of performance, production and editing. The second part of the series received a Fryderyk 2011 award, and the first and third parts were nominated for this award in 2009 and 2012.
“The repertoire presented within the Witold Lutosławski. Opera omnia series shows how Lutosławski’s work has been perceived by different generations of musicians. On the fourth disc of the series, the ninety-year-old maestro Stanisław Skrowaczewski conducts, and on the sixth disc the soloist is the twenty-five-year-old cellist Tomasz Daroch. Garrick Ohlsson, winner of the 1970 Chopin Competition in Warsaw, performed Lutosławski’s Piano Concerto for the first time only on the occasion of the Lutosławski Year in 2013.
