The album Ubi Caritas is a selection of beautiful contemporary compositions about love, mercy and kindness – values that are still in short supply in today's world. Six wonderful composers, moving lyrics, and the beautiful sound of the NFM Choir together with the NFM Leopoldinum Orchestra is a combination that will touch every sensitive ear and heart. Composer Paweł Łukaszewski was invited to collaborate on the creation of the album. Thanks to his inspiration, cooperation was established with another four outstanding contemporary composers who wrote pieces based on fragments of the Song of Songs specially for the NFM Choir. These five compositional commissions, along with other compositions dealing broadly with understandings of love, make up the album Ubi Caritas. The compositions on the album are very diverse, not only in terms of casting but also of compositional style.
The album makes you reflect on your own desires to share goodness and love.
