Petrus Wilhelmi de Grudencz
An album by the Ars Cantus ensemble with music by Piotr of Grudziądz, a composer who was very important for the musical history of Silesia and Wrocław in the 15th century. His work fitted perfectly into the forms and genres described by the so-called Wrocław mensural treatise from around 1440 and widely cultivated in Central Europe. The works by Piotr of Grudziądz preserved in our city are an important testimony of our region’s being part of the European cultural community.
